Jansen Venneboer; a sustainable partner
Corporate social responsibility is based on three important pillars: people, planet and profit. The balance between these three elements is crucial to the sustainable development of our society. Jansen Venneboer wants to make its own contribution to sustainable development and therefore pursues an active CSR policy aimed at promoting the balance between the three elements in its business operations.
We have drawn up the following targets to make sure that our policy is embedded within the organization.
People
- To create secure workplaces and working methods as a way of minimizing the risk of accidents and absenteeism among our staff and third parties.
- To create a positive working climate in which staff can cooperate effectively and enjoy their work.
- To update staff regularly with regard to policy, targets and results in order to reinforce the team spirit, motivation and focus on results, and to raise safety and quality awareness.
Planet
- To organize processes and facilities in a way that will keep energy consumption and the strain on the environment to a minimum, and to reduce them even further where possible.
- To promote the use of sustainable materials in product development or when equipping business areas.
- To increase staff awareness of energy issues.
Profit
- To generate profitable business that will ensure our long-term future.
- To develop and produce sustainable products that meet the requirements, wishes and expectations of our customers, while also meeting the relevant legal regulations.
- To build up secure relations with our customers by acting as a partner, and by delivering high-quality, sustainable products and services within the time limits.
- To strive continuously for improvement in areas where this is needed and where new market and technological developments make this desirable/possible.
Every year, the policy and targets are evaluated, and concrete goals and activities are devised and set for the year to come. This involves assessing the required resources (in the widest sense of the word) and looking into their availability.
