Basic Inspections

During a Jansen Venneboer basic inspection, we will assess the general condition of one or more civil engineering structures in a particular area. The aim of this inspection is to identify any damage and to estimate the year in which periodical maintenance should commence. The inspection focuses on the parts that will require regular maintenance, such as paintwork or the state of corrosion of steel girders, pillars, wear-resistant layers and joints.

The findings are recorded using photos of the situation and any damage that is found. In this way, we can build up a clear picture of the identified flaws of each civil engineering structure and devise a periodical maintenance programme, including the start year and cost of the upkeep. We can then put forward recommendations about the need for a technical inspection or a more detailed survey.
